The Crowne Plaza London - The City is a modern and stylish hotel right in the heart of London, within easy access of some of the city's most famous tourist attractions and West End theatres. This 204 bedroomed hotel, offers five state-of-the-art meeting rooms and award winning F&B outlets including; Voltaire Champagne and Cigar Bar, double AA Rosette awarded Diciannove, AA Rosette awarded Chinese Cricket Club and the City Lounge.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager role involves a range of duties, including: assisting in the responsibility for the day to day operation of the Food and Beverage Services Department comprising of our award winning Restaurants and Bars, whilst focusing on the Room Service, City Lounge, Club Lounge and Meeting and Events Space. The emphasis is on delivering high standards together with efficient, professional and friendly customer service. Upselling, attention to detail, training and coaching the food services team are all part of this role whilst ensuring the brand values and standards are delivered and budgeted targets achieved.

The successful applicant must have previous experience in Food and Beverage Services in a supervisory or management role delivering high levels of customer service in a Hotel or hospitality environment and can work flexible hours, on any day of the week.

  • Have minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Have a good knowledge of the City Food and Beverage Market.

  • Be motivated and pro-active

  • Be well-presented, with a vibrant personality and smile

  • Be confident in talking to customers and enjoy working in a team.

  • Be dynamic, organised and have a pro-active attitude

  • excellent spoken and written command of the English language, other languages are beneficial

All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including night, weekends and bank holidays.

You must meet the legal requirements to work in the UK.
