Comcast requires an individual capable of leading the corporate strategy and deployment of next generation mobility solutions. Current thinking of client executives is that the existing and NextGen commercial infrastructure should present ample opportunity for a converged network that delivers business benefits of ubiquitous connectivity, high security and performance at a significantly lower price point then existing technologies are able to deliver.
The successful candidate will not only possess an intimate knowledge of the latest technologies trends and capabilities but also an ability to articulate the operational and strategic benefits of the available options.
-Create the technology roadmap and implementation plan for all WiFi communications, security compliance and technology migrations.
-Evangelize the strategic and operational benefits associated in order to create executive consensus
-Create business case and plan including program budgeting
-Secure approval and adequate funding
-Create a skills matrix, team design and staffing strategy for the implementation, management and maintenance of the roadmap
-Lead the successful implementation of the new WIFI platform
-Create a benefit realization plan to demonstrate the results forecasted and achieved
-Design a "future-proof" solution that delivers an exceptional customer experience
-Generally requires 11 years related experience
-Deep technical understanding of WiFi networks and Architectures including Fat AP, Thin AP, Physical / Virtualized / Cloud WLAN and Controller vs Controller-less architectures
-Intimate understanding of the Technology Vendor Landscape as well as Strategic / Specific Vendor (eg Cisco) roadmaps including proprietary and open technologies
-Intimate knowledge of security trends and best practices / options for converged infrastructures
-The ability to capture diverse requirements to create appropriate functional solutions including technologies, protocols and procedures required to achieve outcomes
-Exceptional presentation skills and experience presenting to C-Level Executives
-Ability to work independently and in client / partner collaboration in the creation of the business case for a technology adoption
-The ability to create an adoption and migration timeline articulating risks and dependencies
-The ability to create consensus for a roadmap and technical direction
-Program Management experience in a highly matrixed organization
