Job Summary : Reporting to the Performance Reporting Manager, the Reporting Manager will provide comprehensive and complex reporting, analysis and data management for the Retail

Banking business line.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Conducts/compiles and analyzes large amounts of datawhile producing concise reporting.

  • Presentations created for and communicated to seniorlevel management to present analysis and interpretation of results.

  • Requires deep understanding of business lines supportedto properly align reporting.

  • Identifies trends and developments in key performancemetrics to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Manages the data, reporting and analysis while beingresponsible for process improvement/automation pertaining to reporting and datamanagement.

  • Develops and runs complex reports that empower users toanswer their own questions quickly and easily.

  • Tests for consistency andvalidity.

  • Continuously enhances reporting to meet the business needs.

  • Develop and track KPI metrics for the business linesenior management

  • Tracks, monitors, and analyzes the trends and associatedmetrics.

  • Develop sophisticated spreadsheets that include advanceand interactive functions such as macros/pivot tables or other advancedformulas, etc.

  • Maintains a suite of reports that will be continuouslyenhanced and improved.

  • Acts as liaison between department and systems personnelto develop or enhance systems.

  • May oversee preparation of reports/data used to determineincentive compensation payouts under various incentive plans.

  • Internal consulting - guide/assist business units on bestpractices in reporting/analyzing their results

  • May work closely with Business Intelligence Group forlong-term automation opportunities and develop executive reports that leverageBusiness Intelligence tools.

Additional Information:

  • Requires a four-year college degree (or comparable workexperience).

  • One or more of the following designations: MBA or similarprofessional designation in Financial Management, Business, or MS in Mathand/or Accounting is strongly preferred.

  • Generally minimum of 7 years of increasingly morecomplex responsibility in performing financial and statistical analysis usingMS excel, (or comparable).

  • Requires the ability to communicate comfortably and conciselywith Executive Management.

  • Ability to work under time pressure and handle multipleprojects at a time.

  • Ability to communicate, influence, negotiate, andpersuade team members at all levels.

  • Requires good time management skills.

  • Experience with Access, Excel, SQL, Oracle, Tableau,PowerPoint and SAP Business Objects.
